An electronic waltz that I was finally able to put words to post-surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid. The lyrics come from my own ponderings on mortality and my own fear of going under the knife, despite the comparative lack of danger in the procedure. (I've never been good with stress.)

They
They Can't Ever Be Sure
Cut Myself Open
Leave Me Less Than Before
We
Are Not Ready To Go
I Can't Conceive Of Deletion
'Til It's Cold
I Am Not Afraid
Of Walking On This Wire
Feel My Fingers Quake
For I Am A Terrible Liar
This Place Is A Prism
A Cold Unfeeling Prison
And The Escaping Light
Leaves More Vibrant Than When It Arrived
This Comes In Waves
And Phases And Stages
To Embrace Change
Would Not Be So Outrageous
