about
An expression of frustration towards a revolution that never came, and the feckless status quo that insists that this is enough.
It's a bit of a mordant tone for pride month.
This was a track I had completed prior to my computer breaking down and necessitating the need for another. I managed to salvage the majority of my other songs I'd been working on, but this one could not be. Rather than leave it to collect dust I present it here and now.
I am as far as I'm aware the only darkwave artist to write a song with an oud in it.
lyrics
There's A Place That's Warm
In The Corners Of My Mind
Safe From All The Screaming
No Sense Of Space Or Time
And There's A Place Of Trauma
A Cold Desaturated Hue
These Days It's Harder And Harder
To Differentiate Between The Two
Disorder
Where Are You
I Can't Scream Loud Enough
Disorder
How Dare You
Calling Out My Bluff
I Was Embraced
I Was Imprisoned
By Prediction
Addict To My Comfort
For Fear Of Being Known
Such Perfect Symmetry
Now Decays My Sanity
This Beloved Status Quo
Disorder
Where Are You
My Patience Wearing Thin
Disorder
How Dare You
Greet Oblivion With A Grin
Disorder
Where Are You
It's Time To Make Amends
Disorder
How Dare You
All I Ever Wanted Was The End
Disorder
Where Are You
Holding On As Best I Can
Disorder
How Dare You
But A Mere Mortal Human
Disorder
Where Are You
They've Come To Claim The Bill
Disorder
How Dare You
If You Don't Then No One Will

This song recently took the prize for horniest song in my music library, an honor previously allowed to (surprise!) another Aesthetic Perfection song. When this guy sets out to make a sex jam, he really does not hold back. musicalcat311

Always venturing into new sounds but keeping things catchy throughout, this single almost gives me IAMX/Kite vibes. It has been super cool having a different AE song set the tone for each month, I love this approach Ned Michaels
Three new songs and three remixes from Italian darkwavers Ash Code will surely grace goth club speakers once we can go pick cobwebs again. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2021
